Easy to prepare and made in individual ramekins, this recipe for Mincemeat and Pear Crumbles uses 100g (25g each Ramekin) of my premade frozen streusel topping.
Preheat the oven to 180deg fan assisted. Place a baking tray on the middle shelf.
Step 1: Peel and chop the pears into small chunks.
2 small to medium sized pears
Step 2: Divide the sweet Mincemeat into the bottom of each Ramekins. Place the chunks of pears on top. Be generous with the fruit.
250 g Sweet Mincemeat
Step3: Cover the individual crumbles with the homemade Streusel Topping - about 25g per Ramekin.
100 g Homemade Crumble Topping
Step 4: Place the Ramekins on the preheated baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 - 22 minutes or until you begin to see the juices bubble to the top.
Leave to cool a little before serving. Serve with a dash of fresh cream, mascarpone or ice cream.

Storage
Fridge - These individual crumbles can be made ahead of time and will keep in the fridge for a few days. Before serving, bring back to room temperature and heat in a moderate oven for a few minutes.
Tips and FAQ Can I Use Tinned Pears for Mincemeat Crumble?
Tinned pears are a great alternative. Remaining tinned pears can be added to muesli for breakfast.
How Can I Reheat Individual Fruit Crumbles in the Oven?
Place individual fruit crumbles on a baking tray and bake in a preheated 180 deg oven for 8 - 10 minutes or until the juices begin to bubble through the crumble topping.
